Daniela Cayetano-Mazas
My beautiful name is Daniela Cayetano and I am a senior at Ambassador School of Global Leadership. I am 17 years old. I was born in the amazing city of Los Angeles, and raised in Koreatown. I am so grateful to have supportive, caring, and hard working parents. My parents migrated from Oaxaca, Mexico to Los Angeles, California about 24 years ago. My parents are a huge part of my life because they always encourage me to keep working hard even when I think I cannot push anymore. My ultimate goal is to make my parents proud and for them to not worry about any problems or issues. They have struggles their whole life and the way to repay them is with my success in my future life. I am the youngest of two. My brother, Marcos, graduated from ASGL as well. My brother is someone I look up to because he does what he believes is right and does not care about others opinion. My family is something that I treasure the most. They make me who I am today and who I am going to be in the future. I tend to stay away from people that bring negativity and tend to leave them. Having good company with good intentions can lead you to a successful education. SPORTS.! Sports have been one of my favorite part of high school. I a student-athlete that represents the Girls' Basketball Team since 2014-15. The passion of basketball started in the end of 7th grade year when my brother showed me the sport. He would watch the Lakers game and learn the moves and practice. Him, being the person I look up to, I copied what he did and since then fell in love with the game. I am an outgoing, curious, and risk taker. I always want to go to a new place with a different atmosphere I am not use to.
